Prior to your session, you will be asked to complete a brief health questionnaire. This will provide a comprehensive overview of your general health, fitness, and any specific health concerns that might be relevant to your massage treatment. Following this, we will have a discussion about any particular areas you would like to focus on to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your massage.
This initial consultation will take approximately 10 minutes and is included as part of your introductory session.
Raynor Massage offers a full-body treatment, excluding the genital areas, with special emphasis on the hands, feet and head. For your comfort, you will be fully draped with soft, fleecy blankets throughout the session. Only the area being worked on will be uncovered, and it will be promptly re-draped once the focus shifts to another area.
Please note that for women, the breast area will not be massaged and will remain fully draped throughout the treatment to ensure your comfort and privacy.
Please note that Raynor Massage is a therapeutic treatment designed to address deep-rooted tension, which may cause some discomfort as blockages are released. Prior to your session, we will discuss the appropriate levels of pressure to ensure your comfort, and I will always work within your personal comfort zone. Throughout the treatment, I will regularly check in with you to ensure the pressure remains acceptable.
Initial treatments may involve some discomfort due to surface tension, but this will subside as the tension is released. Subsequent sessions will allow for deeper work with less discomfort. The focus is on the significant relief and improved well-being you will experience afterward
For your privacy, I will leave the room while you prepare for your session. Ladies are asked to undress, leaving your underwear on. Removing your bra to allow for an unobstructed back massage, but if you feel more comfortable leaving it on, I can work around it. Gentlemen can undress, leaving your underwear on.
Please position yourself face down on the massage table, Fresh fleece blankets will be provided for you to cover yourself. After a few minutes, I will knock on the door to ensure you are ready and properly draped before re-entering the room.
Absolutely. However, I kindly request that your companion observes quietly without engaging in conversation, allowing me to concentrate fully on providing you with the best possible treatment
Please ensure that all jewellery and hair accessories are removed prior to your treatment. Its also recommended to bathe for comfort.
As blockages are removed, energy (Chi) that was once stagnant will flow freely throughout your body again. This may manifest as a strong tingling sensation, typically in the hands, legs, or stomach. While this may feel unusual, it is a positive indication that you are responding well to the treatment.
Raynor Massage aims to release emotional tension often stored in the body, particularly in the stomach. This release can occur in various forms, such as tears, laughter, or even anger. If you feel the need to cry, laugh, or yell, please do so. Such reactions are completely normal and are a healthy way to release pent-up tension. I am accustomed to these responses and encourage you to embrace them as part of the healing process.
It is different for everyone. Some people will feel instantly re-energized and lighter directly after the treatment, while others will feel relaxed and quite sleepy. You may well be buzzing all over (some people refer to this as a legal high)!!!! Raynor Massage will release toxins that have been held within your muscles. Drinking several glasses of fresh water after the treatment is necessary to help flush these toxins from your system and alcohol and caffeine should be avoided for the rest of the day.
The day after your massage it is possible that you may feel a little tender in areas where you had tightly held tension which I worked deeply into. This is a perfectly normal reaction and nothing at all to worry about. Any feeling of soreness will pass soon. The overall result of releasing the residual tension and the wonderful relief that brings should make up for any mild discomfort.
